A semi-permanent make-up. Microblading uses a small hand held tool of needles to mimic hairlike strokes into your eyebrows. Pigment is implanted into the upper layers of your skin giving it a natural look. Over time, pigment fades leaving the skin and your natural brows behind. It can last anywhere from 9-18 months

Before Care

• No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before procedure, these substances could make your skin more prone to bleeding, and bleeding doesn’t help the ink retention;
• Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure;
• Do not take any blood thinners such as Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure;
• No brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion or chemical peels one week before;
• No botox 30-45 days before or after procedure;
• Discontinue Retin-A 4 weeks prior to appointment;
• Do not use any skincare products that contains acids close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after your procedure;
• Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle;

After Care

Proper Aftercare for your eyebrow improvement is necessary to achieve the best results.

Review the following instructions and refer to them as necessary. If during the healing process you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

• Ointment 2 TIMES DAILY WITH Q-TIP! Before use the balm you should wipe your tattoo with a wet cotton round and pat the area dry. Remember, only a rice-grain size. Less is more! Too much ointment can pull out the pigment and interfere with healing;
• KEEP DRY (BESIDES WASHING) UNTIL COMPLETELY HEALED. AKA NO SCABBING OR FLAKING LEFT! USUALLY 10 DAYS;
• CLIENTS STILL NEED TO KEEP DRY IN THE SHOWER… STEAMY HOT SHOWERS WILL CAUSE THE PORES TO OPEN AND SCABS SOFTEN, SO TO BE CAUTIOUS, NO EXTRA STEAMY HOT SHOWERS!! AVOID THE WATER ESPECIALLY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER RUNNING DOWN.. THAT’LL CAUSE COLOR DISCOLORATION!;
• NO EXCESSIVE SWEATING;
• NO SAUNA, HOT TUB, POOL, OCEAN, ETC;
• DO NOT PICK, RUB, OR SCRATCH SCABS! AVOID SLEEPING ON FACE;
• AVOID DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE FOR 2 WEEKS;
• NO ANTI AGING OR ACNE PRODUCTS ON THEM EVER!! WILL CAUSE FADING VERY QUICKLY. THIS IS ANYTHING WITH CHEMICAL EXFOLLIANTS SUCH AS RETINOL, GLYCOLIC ACID,SALISYLIC ACID, ETC.

Hairy Advice

Once the eyebrow area has fully healed, a touch-up is necessary to secure the foundation of the pigment. A touch-up appointment can be made 4-8 weeks after your first session.
Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 to 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun.  Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly.
