Before Care For Microblading
- No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before the procedure, these substances could make your skin more prone to bleeding, and bleeding doesn’t help the ink retention.
- Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to the procedure. Do not take any blood thinners such as Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before the procedure.
After Care for Microblading
- Proper Aftercare for your eyebrow improvement is necessary to achieve the best results;
- Review the following instructions and refer to them as necessary. If during the healing process you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us;
- Ointment 2 TIMES DAILY WITH Q-TIP! Before use the balm you should wipe your tattoo with a wet cotton round and pat the area dry. Remember, only a rice-grain size. Less is more! Too much ointment can pull out the pigment and interfere with healing. A light layer must be applied for the 7 days following the procedure;
- KEEP DRY (BESIDES WASHING) UNTIL COMPLETELY HEALED. AKA NO SCABBING OR FLAKING LEFT! USUALLY 10 DAYS;
- CLIENTS STILL NEED TO KEEP DRY IN THE SHOWER… STEAMY HOT SHOWERS WILL CAUSE THE PORES TO OPEN AND SCABS SOFTEN, SO TO BE CAUTIOUS, NO EXTRA STEAMY HOT SHOWERS!! AVOID THE WATER ESPECIALLY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER RUNNING DOWN.. THAT’LL CAUSE COLOR DISCOLORATION!;
- NO EXCESSIVE SWEATING;
- NO SAUNA, HOT TUB, POOL, OCEAN, ETC…
- DO NOT PICK, RUB, OR SCRATCH SCABS! AVOID SLEEPING ON FACE;
- AVOID DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE FOR 2 WEEKS;
- NO ANTI AGING OR ACNE PRODUCTS ON THEM EVER!! WILL CAUSE FADING VERY QUICKLY. THIS IS ANYTHING WITH CHEMICAL EXFOLLIANTS SUCH AS RETINOL, GLYCOLIC ACID,SALISYLIC ACID, ETC…
